BSRC Adult/Child Stick & Puck

Adult/Child Stick & Puck is for all adults and children, supervision follows the general rules of the facility (Children 7 years or younger must be supervised by a responsible individual 14 years or older). The responsible individual must pre-register for the timeslot (even if just spectating), and must be able to see and access the child at all times.

All BSRC drop-in or skating programs require a valid BSRC membership or drop-in admission payment.

The timeslot is reserved for children/adults to work on their basic hockey skills in a safe and respectful environment.

Participants 17 years and under must wear full hockey equipment - which includes:

-CSA certified hockey helmet (full face mask)

-Neck guard

-Hockey pants

-Support cup

-Shin/elbow/shoulder pads

-Regulation hockey stick

Adults are required to wear a CSA certified helmet, gloves, and skates, along with a regulation hockey stick.

There are NO organized games/shinny pick-up games during this time. Slapshots, body-checking, rough play, and pick-up games are not permitted.

-This is a family program and not intended for formal groups or hockey teams, formal team coaching is not permitted.

BSRC PUBLIC PRE ASSESSMENT DECLARATION

I understand if I say “Yes” to any of the questions below, I am not permitted to attend my appointment the Beaumont Sport & Recreation Centre.

The tool is meant to be used to assist with assessing attendees who may be symptomatic, or who may have been exposed to someone who is ill or has confirmed COVID-19.

Children and youth will need a parent to assist them to complete this screening tool.

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve, this screening tool will be updated as required.

    1. Does the guest have any new onset or worsening of any of the following: fever, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, sore throat, chills, painful swallowing, runny nose, nasal congestion, feeling unwell or fatigued, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, unexplained loss of appetite, loss of sense of smell or taste, muscle or joint aches, headache, conjunctivitis (pink eye)?
    2. Have you been tested, awaiting results, or received a confirmed infected with COVID-19?
    3. Have you travelled or been out of the country in the last 14 days OR been in close contact with someone who has?
    4. Have you had close contact (within 2 meters/6 feet) with a person lab confirmed COVID-19 case in the last 14 days?

By reserving my spot I acknowledge and understand that by answering “Yes” to any of the above questions I may NOT enter the Beaumont Sport & Recreation Centre.
